We’ve co-signed a new Veteran and Family Wellbeing Agency Service Charter (the Charter) with the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) and Department of Defence (Defence) to demonstrate our commitment to improving wellbeing outcomes for serving ADF members, veterans and families of veterans.
The Charter formalises our shared responsibility and establishes a framework for collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement. It sets out shared, governance arrangements and service commitments aimed at delivering more connected, continuous and person-centred support. It also outlines VFWA performance reporting, evaluation and ongoing review requirements will help drive transparency, accountability and continuous improvement over time.
The Charter has been signed by the Secretary of DVA and the Chief of the Defence Force in support of the Chief Executive Officer of the Veteran and Family Wellbeing Agency.
