The National Health Services Directory (NHSD) is searched more than 1.5 million times every month through healthdirect’s Service Finder. By making sure your health services are accurately listed, you can help DVA clients and their referrers find the services they need. Register on the NHSD today and indicate that you accept DVA Veteran Cards. This little step will make a big difference for veterans and families of veterans.

If you are already registered on the NHSD but haven’t previously confirmed that you accept DVA clients, you can simply update your profile to indicate you accept Veteran Cards.

Not registered yet? Register today and apply the new DVA-specific indicator to confirm you accept Veteran Card holders.

If you are already registered and have previously confirmed that you accept DVA clients, you don’t need to do anything. The new DVA indicator will automatically be applied for you.
How to register
First check if your health service is already listed.

If no: Complete the NHSD online registration form.

If yes: Review your existing listing on Service Finder.

If you need to, update your details by clicking on ‘Suggest an edit’ and submit a service update form.

To add DVA card acceptance click ‘Veteran cards accepted’ and select ‘Yes’.
