Limited places available, enrol in the fully funded Mental Health Literacy and Suicide Prevention Training today!

DVA recognises the importance of improving military cultural competency among health professionals who work with veterans and families of veterans.

We are offering funded Mental Health Literacy and Suicide Prevention Training delivered by leading early intervention and suicide prevention training providers, Mental Health First Aid International and LivingWorks. 

The training is open to:

  • current and former members of the ADF,
  • families, friends, carers, employers and colleagues of ex-serving and current ADF personnel, and
  • healthcare professionals and community members supporting veterans and the families of veterans and serving members.

Strengthen your understanding of the unique experiences of military service and build on your knowledge and skills to recognise and respond to signs of mental health problems and provide suicide first aid to your veteran patients.
