Jane's reflection
Proudly remembering my son Dan’s service in Afghanistan in 2007.
I treasure the messages he sent home from his tent — complaining about the dreadful curries, joking about “spam in a can”, and making sure his Dad didn’t miss the footy back home.
Even so far from home, his wonderful sense of humour and love for his family always shone through.
Thinking of him today, now living in Finland, with so much love and pride.
With love, Mum.
Lest we forget. ❤️
