Gabbie's reflection
My maternal grandfather fought in WW2, my maternal great Aunt was a nurse in PNG and my dad was a conscript during the Vietnam War.
Being of service to others is important in my family. Whether is it's volunteering, helping out a mate or doing a good deed, dad always taught me growing up to fight for what you believe in and give back to the community. I instil the same values in my own children, and we are all very proud of my dad, grandfather and great aunt for their sacrifices for our freedom we enjoy today. Lest we forget.
