As a veteran employee at DVA I had the privilege to coordinate and be the Master of Ceremonies at the Australian Government led 2025 ANZAC Day Dawn Service at the Isurava Memorial on the Kokoda Track, PNG. It was an incredibly emotional and deeply humbling experience that brought together history, service and remembrance in a way few moments ever do. I am heading back to Isurava to run the 2026 ANZAC Day Dawn Service and then return in August to walk track with a group of close friends, many who are veterans themselves. Courage, Mateship, Endurance, and Sacrifice.
