Today I remember my dear daddy, Gary.
He served in Vietnam as a young 21-year-old.
My father was a strong man, and the only time I ever saw him shed tears was when he talked about his time there.
As I now work for DVA, I hope that he would be proud of me, and the work I do to support all veterans.
