The Peak Body Project is hosting a third online information session for ex-service organisations (ESOs), veteran serving organisations (VSOs), service providers, veterans, families of veterans and other interested members of the veteran community.
Hosted by Deputy Secretary, Veteran, Family and Stakeholder Experience, Alison McLaren, the session will feature Special Advisor Mr Nick Booth MVO, who has been working across Government, with ESO and VSO organisations and the Defence and veteran community to progress implementation of Recommendation 89 of the Royal Commission and the proposed establishment of a new national peak body for veteran serving organisations.
This session will provide a progress update on the recommended form, functions and structure of the independent peak body to support the sector, strengthen its collective voice and improve outcomes for veterans and families of veterans.
