The Department of Veteran’s Affairs (DVA) has released a new quick tip to assist health providers with understanding the requirements when billing for compensation claims.

We understand DVA’s compensation claim process can be complex, especially for busy practices. This new printable quick tip provides guidance on billing for each step of the way.

From 1 February 2024 invoices for compensation claims will only be paid if uploaded via the Provider Upload Page (PUP) using the Transaction Reference Number, or submitted with evidence of a DVA request.

Remember, the PUP is the fastest and most convenient way to get your invoices paid.

DVA offer a number of handy quick tips on compensation claims and you can find them all on the DVA website. We encourage you to print them off so you have them on hand when your veteran patient needs to submit a claim with us.
