The Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) has been recognised as a Veteran Employer of Choice under the Australian Government’s Veteran Employment Commitment (VEC).
The VEC recognises organisations actively supporting veterans through best-practice recruitment, workplace support and leadership. It features three tiers:
- Veteran Employment Supporter
- Veteran Friendly Employer
- Veteran Employer of Choice
DVA has achieved the highest tier.
