How we consult the ex-service community

We regularly bring together a range of ex-service groups to tell them our plans, hear their ideas and get their advice to improve services we offer veterans and the families of veterans.

ESO Round Table (ESORT)

A forum aimed at addressing and resolving issues of strategic importance to the ex-service communities

National Aged and Community Care Forum

A forum designed to provide information on the current and future aged care needs of veterans, war widow/widowers and other members of the ex-service community.

National Consultation Framework

A structure designed to facilitate communication between the ex-service community and our department

Operational Working Party

A forum for ex-service organisations to discuss concerns arising from the delivery of DVA services

State and territory forums

We meet with ex-service groups that advise us on veterans' welfare in their state or territory
