MyService for Advocates
On this page
Advocates are encouraged to use MyService when lodging and tracking claims on behalf of the clients they represent. Individual advocates can use MyService directly, while advocate organisations access MyService via Provider Digital Access (PRODA) and MyOrg.
MyService is the preferred channel for lodging claims, from 31 March 2025. This is because MyService:
- provides visibility of claims for easy and transparent management
- is a safe and secure platform that keeps information protected
- increases claim processing efficiency, leading to faster outcomes.
This means advocates are to submit claims through MyService.
Use of the ESO Portal is not recommended as this will be decommissioned over time.
If you are a DVA client looking for an advocate to represent you, learn more at What is an advocate?
Both individual advocates and advocate organisations are required to register as a representative with a signed copy of the D9325 form – Appointing a third party to represent a DVA client.

About MyOrg and PRODA
MyOrg is a linked service within Provider Digital Access (PRODA). PRODA is the provider authentication service hosted by Services Australia on behalf of the Australian Government.
Through MyOrg, advocate organisations can:
- submit requests to represent DVA clients
- access the MyService accounts of the DVA clients they represent
- maintain records of who in their organisation is authorised to have MyOrg access
- manage the access permissions for their authorised personnel to DVA client records.
How to register in PRODA
- Register for an individual PRODA account
- Register an organisation
- Add service providers to your organisation – for MyOrg access, choose the service provider ‘Veteran Centric Reform’.
- Manage members and delegations in your organisation
Detailed instructions on each of these steps and more are available at Provider Digital Access (PRODA) - Services Australia.
NOTE: DVA must finalise the registration processes for the Authorised Responsible Officer, the organisation and link to the service provider before MyOrg can be accessed.
