The Association is seeking new members. If you served in the Royal Australian Navy Fleet Air Arm or the Air Wing of an Allied Naval service, we welcome you. Our Association comprises men and women from all branches of the Navies Fleet Air Arms, both from the Commissioned and Non-Commissioned ranks. We meet bi-monthly for lunch in Northbridge, as well as enjoying other activities for members and partners.

Seeking a photo of my late husband in full Army uniform. Born 27/12/1940, Died 19/12/2023. Served in the Australian Army from 13/3/1959 to 11/3/1968, Service # 15085, RAAOC Unit BOD, Storeman/technician/driver in Ordnance. Posted to Malaysia 25/3/1964 – 25/3/1966 and Borneo 30/7/1966 – 28/10/1966.

Looking to find Robert Medcalf who served on HMAS Vendetta 1969-70, Vietnam gunline trip. He came from Adelaide.

The Kingston SE RSL is seeking relatives of WX40071 PTE Alfred William Court (KIA 2 July 1945) and his father 6305 DVR Horace Reginald Court. Alfred, known as Alf or “Courty”, served with the 2/16th Australian Infantry Battalion during World War II. He died of wounds at Balikpapan, Borneo, on 2 July 1945, aged just 20. His mother was Ruby Court. His father, Horace, served in the 16th Australian Army Service Corps during World War I. He enlisted in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, at the age of 19, and his brother Walter was listed as next of kin. If this family is familiar to you, please get in touch.

We are a not-for-profit organisation supporting current serving and retired veterans and their families through golf, mateship, wellbeing and community connection. We schedule rounds across 3 regions of SEQ - Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast with up to 10 rounds per year per region. Members can pick and choose which rounds they would like to play in as the focus is about mateship and supporting each other (as well as having a great time on the golf course). Our next scheduled events are:
Friday 31 July - Palmer Gold Coast Golf Course and Sunday 30 August - Keperra Country Golf Club, Brisbane. Golfers of all abilities are welcome; there is no requirement to have a GA handicap.

Following the service, please join us for afternoon tea at the RSL Clubrooms, 40 James Street, Kingston SE, South Australia. RSVP by 5th August 2026.

TTSA is a newly formed subsidiary of Outback Grave Markers Inc (OGM). A volunteer, not for profit organisation, telling the stories and marking the graves of more than 4,500 pioneers across Australia. Over the last 10 years, we have marked the graves of numerous Gallipoli, WW1 and WW2 survivors, whose graves show no
recognition of their service. We now have the capability and passion to tell the stories and make plaques for these ex-service personnel. At no cost, honour your family members’ service by submitting their story, with photos, to be published on our freely available website and stored permanently. Services include ADF, First Responders, Surf Life Savers and Nurses, etc. At a nominal cost (to cover material only), you can also have an engraved plaque made, with a personal photo to commemorate your family members.

My husband and I have both been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). My husband is an Australian Defence Force veteran. We know of two other ADF couples that have developed MS and also an American couple. I have a background in neuropsychology, and I want to know more about this atypical situation. Please share this story so more military couples in the same situation might come forward and make contact with me.

The sub-Branch was launched in May 2026 and this notice is a call-out to any ex-Services personnel living in the UK and interested in being involved with a like-minded group of current and ex-services personnel. The RSL has a responsibility to support veterans and their families, regardless of where they might live. Seeking information regarding Peter (service number 2786848), who served in Vietnam with 131 Divisional Locating Battery, RAA, from 1967–1968. The Association is seeking confirmation of his date of death and place of burial for inclusion in the 131 Div Loc Bty RAA Association newsletter, which honours members who have passed.

I served as Major Bill’s radio operator on all ops of 4 RAR’s 68/69 Viet tour. I’m seeking a copy of his MC citation gained on 16 Feb 1969.

The tragic circumstances of the Moora mortar tragedy on 15 March 1943 claimed the lives of 14 soldiers when a 3-inch mortar exploded during a training lesson conducted by 4th Infantry Battalion. The book will commemorate the lives lost in the tragedy. As part of this project, I’m also reaching out to families, relatives and friends of those who perished, in hopes of gathering personal stories, photographs, and memories that celebrate who they were - not just as names on a list, but as individuals who lived, loved, and were deeply cherished.

The 19th National Diggers Bowls Tournament is back in 2026, bringing together current and former Defence Force members from across Australia for a few days of competition, connection and banter. No team or experience? No problem. Just nominate by closing date, turn up for registration and you'll be matched with others. The Tournament is held in Dubbo and partners and families are welcome. Entry Fee - $75 per person (lunch included each day) One Non-military family member/partner per team of three is eligible. Nominations close 4 September; Diggers Day - Sunday 6 September; Registration Day - Monday 7 September, Tournament Days – 8 to 10 September 2026.

Hoping to touch base with Hairy, originally from Swansea Belmont. We joined the Army in August 1968 18Plt. C Company 1 RTB, then Infantry training at Ingleburn. I was posted to 3 RAR and I think Hairy went to 7 RAR.

Partners of Veterans Australia (PVA) is proud to announce this national commemorative and engagement event to be held on Friday 16 October 2026. This special event will recognise the often-unseen contribution, resilience and sacrifice of the partners, spouses, children and families who have stood beside those who have served Australia. The program will include a Commemorative Service and Wreath Laying Ceremony; National Symposium featuring guest speakers from government, veteran support organisations and community leaders; formal Gala Dinner hosted by Lady Lynne Cosgrove, Patron of PVA. The event aims to bring together current and former serving families, widows, carers, supporters, advocates and the broader veteran community for a day of recognition, connection and national conversation. Further details regarding registrations, speakers and ticketing will be released in coming months.

On behalf of the Clermont RSL in QLD, I am seeking relatives of two WWI soldiers who are buried in unmarked graves in the Clermont Cemetery. The branch wishes to commemorate these soldiers by adding a plaque on their grave but must first have approval from a relative. The soldiers are James Alexander Kirkpatrick S.N. 408, 42nd Battalion, died Clermont May 1919 and William Henry Mundt S.N. 2222, 52nd Battalion, died Clermont January 1936. Kirkpatrick was from the Bundaberg region and his father was the shire clerk at Eidsvold during the war. Both men suffered war injuries- Kirkpatrick had gunshot injuries and Mundt was gassed.

The retreat, Camp Andrew Russell (CAR), is named after the first Australian killed in action in Afghanistan. The retreat is available to all war and peacekeeping veterans, first responders, and their families. CAR provides a place of rest, remembrance and community. CAR, which is managed by VVFSA, is located on 20 acres at Alawoona and costs $8 per person, per night. We are also seeking a volunteer caretaker/manager for the camp for periods of 3 months to stay onsite to clean and complete admin for the camp.
