Seeking British War Medal and Victory Medal. James enlisted 17.12.1915 and discharged 25.3.1920. He died at Riverton SA in 1939 and is buried in The West Terrace War Cemetery in Adelaide. His sister Elizabeth Harding (nee Dupree) was the beneficiary of his will. Maybe some of Auntie Bess’s family have possession of the medals.

Second World War medals belonging to my grandfather have been missing for decades. He served in the Royal Navy and he was lost at sea during the war. Albert was born in Wondai, Queensland on 19 August 1917. Date of Enlistment: 17 October 1940; date of Discharge: 03 June 1946. Next of Kin was noted as Annie Johnson. A WWII medal rack consisting of 5 medals was found at the Riverview Dump (near Goodna) around six years ago. We would like to return it to family.
