Forward with Dementia
Forward with Dementia is a new, dynamic project and website providing evidence-based information, strategies, stories and news to support people recently diagnosed with dementia, their carers and families. The website also helps clinicians who diagnose dementia and other health professionals involved in post-diagnostic care.
Forward with Dementia is grounded in the knowledge that many people live full and meaningful lives after a dementia diagnosis. It was co-designed by people living with dementia, carers, international research academics and healthcare professionals. It provides information and resources people with dementia said they wanted and needed in the early stages but struggled to find.
Separate portals for people with dementia and carers contain tailored information, strategies and tools to help understand and come to terms with the diagnosis, manage symptoms, live well and plan for the future.

People with dementia and their carers can help us to improve the website and resources and determine the impact of the Forward with Dementia project.
Get involved by taking part in a 20-minute survey. Everyone who returns a completed survey will go into a draw to win one of ten $50.00 shopping vouchers.
