Royal Commission Implementation Committee (RCIC)

Established in April 2025, the Royal Commission Implementation Committee (RCIC) oversees and governs activities led or jointly led by DVA to implement recommendations of the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide.

The RCIC provides a forum for senior leadership to consider, discuss and make decisions about DVA’s implementation of the Royal Commission’s recommendations, including whole-of-department coordination.

The DVA Secretary chairs the RCIC and it is comprised of DVA and Defence officials and an external member.

Role and meeting outcomes

The RCIC meets regularly to drive planning and implementation, monitor progress, and provide advice and assurance on implementation and project performance.
