Veterans’ Health Week - funding and registration application form 2024

This form should be completed by ex-service organisations and community organisations applying for a Veterans’ Health Week (VHW) event. 

Veterans' Health Week Events must: 

  • promote the 2024 VHW theme Keep Connected 
  • be held within the relevant Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) VHW date period (13 October – 20 October 2024). Events can also be held throughout October (1 to 31). 

Applications to be received by DVA prior to the application closing date (30 August). 

APPLICANTS ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE AN ONLINE APPLICATION FOR EACH SEPARATE EVENT THEY WISH TO HOLD.   

PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE READ AND CHECKED YOUR APPLICATION PRIOR TO SUBMITTING IT AS YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO AMEND OR SAVE YOUR APPLICATION ONCE SUBMITTED. PLEASE NOTE A COPY OF YOUR COMPLETED APPLICATION WILL BE SENT TO YOUR NOMINATED EMAIL ADDRESS FOR YOUR RECORDS.

DVA will not accept applications received by post and fax. Information about the application process is available in the VHW Funding, Registration, and Application Guidelines 2024 and on the Department of Veterans' Affairs website. Prior to submitting your application, please read the VHW Funding, Registration, and Application Guidelines 2024 (applicable to all events).

Applicants must submit any questions relating to the Program, technical help or support in using and/or submitting the Application Form by email to VHW [at] dva.gov.au (VHW[at]dva[dot]gov[dot]au). A response will be provided within five business days. 

This funding opportunity and process will be administered by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA).

The Department of Veterans’ Affairs and the Veterans’ Health Week Program may use the information for other than personal information provided in this Application Form to assist with:

  • informing staff negotiating and establishing VHW of risks and issues that arise for that program, and/or 
  • informing future assessments for Applications. 

You can only apply if you agree to the Department of Veterans’ Affairs using the information (not personal information) you provide in this form for the purposes listed above.
