DVA is presenting two free webinars for service providers, which highlight DVA services available to older veterans.

Veterans and their families often turn to trusted health professionals and other service providers for information and support. As a trusted service provider, you need to be informed about the services available to older veteran clients. You can then provide these clients with the most accurate information about the support and services available to them.

DVA offers a range of services to support veterans and their families. These are easy to access, and aim to support veterans and their families to live full and active lives.

DVA services for older veterans aim to:

  • enable veterans to stay independent at home
  • support veterans to manage their chronic health conditions
  • support veterans at home during an illness or after a stay in hospital
  • give carers a break
  • support veterans at home on an ongoing basis or as they transition
  • permanently into an aged care home.
