Medicare card now available in the myGov app

Australians can now add a digital version of their Medicare card to their wallet in the myGov app. The addition of the digital card to the wallet provides a safe and convenient way to keep your personal online documents together in one place.

The physical Medicare card will still work if you choose to use it. However, having the digital version too gives you the option to choose your preferred method.

To add your Medicare card to the myGov digital wallet, you will need to have Medicare linked to your myGov account. For more information on the myGov app, including links to download from the app stores, go to my.gov.au/en/about/help/mygov-app.

Veterans can also access MyService through myGov. MyService gives veterans and families a way to connect with DVA online. More information on the features available within MyService are available on our website.
