About Northern Territory MHPE

The NT currently has a small band of five MHPE volunteers, including volunteers located in Katherine and Alice Springs. NT MHPE has both male and female volunteers.  These volunteers are also involved in local ex service organisations and have other volunteering roles.  The MHPE group meets approximately four times a year to share information and support each other.

NT MHPE volunteers choose how and when they spend their time volunteering and obtain great satisfaction from one on one talks with their peers about men’s health issues.

News and Events

Our MHPE volunteer Peta checks oil pressure (blood pressure) at our Pit-Stop during Men’s Health Week

In 2017, the NT MHPE volunteers have already been involved in Defence Community Organisation Open Days in Darwin and Katherine and a "Pit-Stop" event for Men's Health Week in June.

Our volunteers are looking forward to participating in events during Veterans' Health Week in Octorber, including to 10,000 Steps Challenge.
