Disability Compensation Payments and allowances

We may pay you if your service caused or worsened an injury or disease. We calculate Disability Compensation Payments based on the type of injury or disease you have, and when you served. If you get other money that compensates you, we may pay you less.

You may receive these if your service before 1 July 2004 was the cause of your illness or injury

Extreme Disablement Adjustment

A form of payment for people 65 or older who have a service related injury

Special and Intermediate rates

We may pay you a higher payment if your injuries stop you from earning a usual working wage

Additional Disability Compensation Payment for specific disabilities

If you have any of these disabilities, we may pay you extra money
