Nuclear tests occurred at Maralinga, Emu Field and Monte Bello Islands in the 1950s and 1960s. These tests may affect you if you are or were near the areas where the tests happened. This includes civilians.
Eligible veterans were a part of the British nuclear tests or the British Commonwealth occupation force

We may cover you under the VEA if you were in the test areas during and after the test period
