The 2017 Budget.

The Budget papers were distributed to the group and the national budget presentation was delivered by the Deputy Commissioner. It was well received by the group with a lively discussion and questions.

Other Business

Veteran Centric reform

A query about the estimated arrival of the single platform implementation. A discussion about the Veteran Centric Reform and MyService ensued.

ATDP

There was concern about eligibility for BEST funding and VITA coverage when TIP expires. All queries will be answered in full in the ATDP roadshow and the National Conference in two weeks.

Veterans Employments Assistance Initiative.

There seems to have been no movement or communication since the November meeting. There is a state government meeting in May with the Commonwealth State Committee to discuss an industry-led initiative.
