Seeking WWI medals of Thomas George Drew
Thomas Drew - Service No: 2796. Enlisted 27 September 1916, discharged 5 April 1919 from 9th Field Company Engineers. Awarded 1914/15 Star, British War Medal (63310) and the Victory medal (61172). He died on 17 October 1960 in Melbourne.

Among my great-uncle's effects after he died in 1978, a WWI British War Medal for his first wife's husband: 701 - PTE G ALEXANDER 4-L.H.R. A.I.F. Private George Alexander was born in 1872 in Richmond, Australia. His next of kin was a woman named Emma Watterson of Richmond. He was killed in action in 1917.

LT COL George Edward Colvin (1903-1975)
2 RAR Museum is seeking relatives of the late LTCOL George Colvin (1903-1975). He served all during WW2 in the 9th DIV. In 1934 he married Florence Hannah Williams at St Jude's Anglican Church, Randwick; they were later to be divorced. On 22 Nov 1952 he married a widow Alma Beryl ('Pat') Bolger, née Ryan. He died on 6 December 1975, his wife survived him, as did the son of his first marriage.

Meet at the front gate of Latchford Barracks at 1000h for a tour through the trade wings. This will be followed by a road trip back to Mornington to the Dava Hotel. An informal function will then commence at 1800h at the Dava Hotel.

Friday 18 Jan 2019 to Sunday 20 Jan 2019, based at Mercure Canberra. Tours include AWM Annex, AWM, RAAF Memorial Grove, New Parliament House, National Arboretum, Lake Burley Griffin Cruise, formal and informal functions at the Mercure, Canberra. Also participate in the AWM Last Post ceremony.
