DVA On Base Advisory Service
The On Base Advisory Service (OBAS) is a service provided by specially trained DVA staff located on over 35 bases around Australia. They can help serving members find out about DVA services, including compensation, health services, rehabilitation and support.
What can On Base Advisors do?
On Base Advisors can help you by providing information about the programs and support available from DVA and advice about how to lodge claims for DVA benefits and services.
Why contact the OBAS?
If you have been injured or have suffered an illness which you believe relates to your ADF service, you can lodge a claim at any time during or after your ADF service. If liability is accepted, you may become eligible to receive benefits.
