Serving members

If you are a current member of the Australian Defence Force (ADF), including a reservist, you may still be eligible to receive support from DVA. For example, there are a range of benefits available if you have suffered a loss directly related to a service injury or illness, including:

  • permanent impairment payments
  • incapacity payments
  • household services
  • attendant care
  • aids and modifications
  • access to counselling services
  • access to education and training schemes.

Support programmes

The Stepping Out Program is a free, 2-day programme developed for ADF members and their partners, who are about to, or have recently separated from the military.

Counselling and mental health support programmes are also available.
