Hospitals

Hospital care for entitled persons is provided through the Repatriation Private Patient Scheme (RPPS).  This allows DVA beneficiaries to be admitted directly to a public hospital, former Repatriation General Hospital or contracted private Tier 1 hospital as a private patient, in a shared ward, with the doctor of his or her choice.

This section has been designed to provide hospital staff and service providers with information related to these arrangements.

Use the navigational links to access information on private hospitals, public hospitals, day procedure centres and mental health.
