DVA Health Providers Partnership Forum

The key aims of the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) Health Providers Partnership Forum (HPPF) include promoting and supporting collaboration and partnership between the DVA and peak bodies representing the health sector, to consider how veteran health services may be improved, including through effective policy and service delivery.


Membership of the HPPF is not fixed, the Forum is structured to allow for broad health sector participation.  Meeting attendees include standing members from DVA and the ex-service community, and interested health organisations and associations. Invitations to attend HPPF discussions are sent to peak bodies on DVA's health sector database. The ex-service organisation (ESO) and veterans' perspective is provided by a representative from a DVA National Consultation Framework forum.

The HPPF meets three or four times per year and, if required, holds additional meetings via video or telephone conference.
