Review of Military Compensation Arrangements
The Review of Military Compensation Arrangements was a Government commitment to examine the current military rehabilitation and compensation system.
The Review of Military Compensation Arrangements was completed in February 2011. In 2012 the then Government accepted 96 of the 108 recommendations made and committed $17.4 million over four years to implement the package of changes.
Legislation covering 19 of the recommendations was passed by Parliament and received Royal Assent on 28 June 2013. Most of the changes took effect on 1 July 2013.
