Strengthening veteran mental health
The 2013-14 Federal Budget will provide an additional $26.4 million over four years to strengthen the mental health support available to Australia’s veteran community, with new measures to take effect from July 2014.

Battle of the Atlantic, 70th anniversary commemorative visit to the UK - May 2013
Eight Australian veterans of the Battle of the Atlantic will travel to the UK later this month to attend commemorations to mark the 70th anniversary of what was the longest military campaign of the Second World War.
