    Minister for Veterans’ Affairs, Warren Snowdon, today announced that a national choral organisation which has a strong community focus has been chosen to sing at this year’s Anzac Day commemorations in Gallipoli.

  • 24 January - 113 New projects to honour Australia’s veterans

    Projects across the country are in line to receive Saluting Their Service grants worth $329,393 to commemorate Australia’s wartime history.  The grants aim to honour those who have served, and continue to serve Australia in wars, conflicts and peace operations.

  • 21 January - Grant to commemorate Second World War hero

    A memorial in Malaysia marking the site of an Australian serviceman’s act of heroism during the Second World War will be refurbished with the help of an Australian Government grant.
