Our performance framework assesses performance against the outcomes and outputs set by the Australian Government, as well as our organisational priorities.

We assess our performance against these high-level criteria:

  • Quality by quality assurance and satisfaction with services provided.
  • Cost by the unit price of services.
  • Quantity of goods and services at agreed levels.
  • Timeliness as set out in our Service Charter and contracts.

We also:

  • use a variety of approaches, including audits, to evaluate our performance across a range of effectiveness, efficiency and financial standards based on risk management principles;
  • survey our client groups and providers;
  • assess satisfaction of partner organisations;
  • conduct internal analysis, including staff surveys; and
  • monitor public awareness of the contributions made by those who have served our nation.
