These summary profiles report the numbers of DVA pensioners and treatment cardholders in each of Australia's 620+ local government areas (LGA), by State or Territory. The report is derived from the geocoding (determining the exact geographical location) of beneficiaries to LGA boundaries.

DVA Client Profile by Federal Electorate
These profiles report on the numbers of DVA pensioners and treatment cardholders in each of the Federal electorates by State or Territory. Boundaries used for June 2007 are those current for the 2004 Federal election. From September 2007, the boundaries current for the November 2007 Federal election will be used. Each electorate profile is on a separate page.
DVA Pensioner Summary Statistics
The DVA Pensioner Summary reports on the major pension groups by rate, State, sex, age and conflict.
DVA Treatment Population Statistics
DVA Treatment Population Statistics reports on the department's treatment population by eligibility card type, State, sex, age and conflict.
The treatment population consists of veterans and dependants entitled under the Veterans' Entitlements Act 1986, the Social Security and Veterans' Entitlements Amendment (No2) Act 1987 and the Veterans' Entitlement (Transitional Provisions and Consequenntial Amendments) Act 1986 to treatment at departmental expense.
