Dossiers 1st Australian Imperial Force (AIF)

The personal dossiers of these servicemen and women are preserved at the National Archives of Australia in Canberra. Depot or home records for personnel who served in Australia are also held.

Any member of the public can obtain a copy of a World War I service record. A copy of a dossier can be obtained for a charge of $16.20, forwarded with a Dossier Request Form. If a record is not located, the monies will be returned. To obtain a copy of a Dossier Request Form, write to:
