The Mission Party enjoyed dinner in the unique function spaces of ANZAC Hall at the Australian War Memorial. The dinner was hosted by the Minister for Veterans’ Affairs, the Hon Danna Vale MP. War Memorial Director, Major General Steve Gower AO, welcomed the veterans to the Memorial and spoke about the significance of Australia’s contribution in two World Wars and how the Memorial endeavoured to capture the essence of the service and sacrifice of one and a half million Australians.

Also attending the dinner were Chief of Air Force, Air Marshal Angus Houston AO AFC, and Chief of Army, Lieutenant General Peter Leahy AO.
