Three Korean War veterans and a war widow will travel to Korea next week with the Minister for Veterans Affairs, Danna Vale, to represent Australia at events to mark the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Korean War armistice.

- Launch of Korean War Quilt and unveiling of Korean War plaques by the Mayor of Grafton on 26/27 July
- A ceremonial parade on Friday, 25 July at RAAF Williamtown
- Unveiling of RAAF Korean War Honour Board on Friday, 25 July at RAAF Williamtown
- Reunion and social function on 25-26 July at RAAF Williamtown
- Commemorative service on Sunday, 27 July at RAAF Williamtown
- Annual church service at the Garrison Church, Sydney in September
- 50th Anniversary Commemorative Service on United Nations Day, 24 October at the Australian War Memorial

- 50th anniversary armistice commemorative service at the Australian National Korean War Memorial on Anzac Parade at 11.00am on 27 July
- Function for Korean War veterans after the commemorative service
- Korean and South East Asia Forces Association (KSEAFA) will hold their national conference in Canberra on 25 to 28 July
- KSEAFA will participate in the commemorative service on 27 July
