60th Anniversary of Operation Jaywick - Photos

The
Krait was used in Operation Jaywick to carry the operatives from
Australia to a point near Singapore, from where three two-man canoe
teams were dispatched to lay limpet mines inside Singapore Harbour.

memorial to the men of Operation Jaywick erected on Fraser Island,
Queensland. The men spent time training on Fraser Island, along with
other men of Z and M Special Units who operated behind enemy lines
across the south-west Pacific.
