The Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) is committed to best practice for veterans and war widows/widowers being discharged from hospitals and day procedure centres.

The DVA Discharge Planning Resource Kit provides discharge planners and other health professionals in hospitals and day procedure centres with up-to-date information regarding current DVA procedures and services, and best practice principles in discharge planning.
