Annual reports
This book contains five annual reports:
- the Repatriation Commission annual report (submitted under section
215 of the Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986);
- the Department of Veterans’ Affairs annual report;
- the annual report on the Defence Service Homes (DSH) scheme (submitted
under section 50B of the Defence Service Homes Act 1918). This
information can be found under Output 1.4 of the DVA annual report on
page 53 and in the Our Performance chapter on page 154. Before
1989–90, annual reports on the DSH scheme were prepared by the
former DSH Corporation and were published separately;
- the annual report of the Office of Australian War Graves, submitted
under section 13(1) of the War Graves Act 1980. This information
can be found under Output 3.2 of the DVA annual report on page 97 and
in the Our Performance chapter on page 166. Prior to 1994–95,
OAWG published its own annual report to Parliament; and
- the annual report of the National Treatment Monitoring
Committee (NATMOC), submitted under paragraph 16 of the Repatriation
Private Patient Principles determined under section 90A of the Veterans’
Entitlements Act 1986. The NATMOC annual report can be found at
page 241. Prior to 1996–97 NATMOC published a separate annual
report.
This book does not include the annual reports of:
- the Veterans’ Review Board;
- the Australian War Memorial;
- the Repatriation Medical Authority; or
- the Specialist Medical Review Council.
These agencies submit separate annual reports to the Minister for Veterans’
Affairs.
