Output 5.3 Administer individual merits review

Backlogs in Initial Liability and Permanent Impairment claims were cleared during the year, resulting in the maintenance of high review and appeal activity. The increased intake has been matched with an increased output whilst reducing the average time taken to process a case. Affirmation rates remain high. There has been a significant increase in the number of decisions at the AAT.
