Veteran & Community Grants Program
Information about Veteran & Community Grants Program
The Department of Veterans' Affairs, on behalf of the Australian Government, administers the Veteran and Community Grants (V&CG) Program. These grants aim to maintain and improve the independence and quality of life of members of the veteran community by providing financial assistance for activities, services and projects that sustain and/or enhance well being.
V&CG funding rounds occur on an ongoing, rolling basis. When sufficient applications are received or a two month period has elapsed, a funding round will be processed for the Minister’s decision.

What's new: updated guidelines and application form
The V&CG Guidelines have been updated. The changes are primarily administrative in nature which aim to broaden and clarify the scope of the Guidelines by expanding the purpose for which grant funding can be utilised. These are intended to ensure the Guidelines better reflect the aims and intent of the program and address identified needs in the veteran community.
Applicants should read the V&CG Guidelines before submitting an application. Applications must be submitted on the new Application Form. A new Guide to completing a V&CG Application Form is available for assistance. The new Guidelines, Form and Guide are available below.
