Vietnam Veterans' Children Assistance
The Department of Veterans' Affairs assists the children of Vietnam veterans through the provision of medically necessary appliances and help with medical costs, as well as a scholarship fund for first year tertiary students.

Long Tan Bursary
The Long Tan Bursary is a scholarship fund created by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs to help the children of Vietnam veterans in their first year of full-time tertiary education.

Vietnam Veterans' Sond and Daughters Support Program
The Vietnam Veterans' Sons and Daughters Support Program (VVSDSP) has been established for eligible sons and daughters of Vietnam Veterans who have spina bifida manifesta, cleft lip, cleft palate, adrenal gland cancer or acute myeloid leukaemia to provide financial assistance with out-of-pocket expenses for treatment-related benefits for these conditions.
