DVA is simplifying the requirements for the claiming of PH94 “Small medical aids and appliances”. Health care providers will not be required to submit a copy of the supplier’s invoice, indicating the cost of the item supplied, when lodging a claim for payment for item PH94. However, DVA expects that appropriate record is maintained on the DVA patient’s file to facilitate any required or possible audit of payments to the health care provider.
