6.0 ACNielsen Reports
ACNielsen produced three reports containing survey results. These reports are on male veterans, female veterans, and widow(er)s/divorced and separated partner(s) of veterans.
As well as delineating the survey methodology, the ACNielsen report on the female veterans survey provides tabulated responses to each of the survey questions aggregated by all respondents, service type and age.
6.1 Female Survey Report
The ACNielsen female Vietnam veterans survey report is located at Appendix C1 of this study.
6.2 Male Survey Report
The ACNielsen male Vietnam veterans survey report was published as Appendix C1 in Volume I of this Study: Male Vietnam Veterans, Survey and Community Comparison Outcomes.
6.3 Widow(er)s/Divorced and Separated Partner(s) Survey Report
The ACNielsen widow(er)s/divorced and separated partners report was included as Appendix C2 in Volume I of this Study: Male Vietnam Veterans, Survey and Community Comparison Outcomes.
Initially it was intended that survey responses from widow(er)s/divorced and separated partner(s) would be merged with those of male and female veterans. However, this was found to be impractical for several reasons. There was a low return of completed questionnaires from widow(er)s/divorced and separated partner(s) and apart from the interdiction in statistics of combining data from non-identical sources, the responses of partners gave no indication as to which veteran they related, or whether the veteran was still alive. Duplication of responses could not be ruled out.
