National Health Services Directory

Health and wellbeing is a concern of all DVA clients.

The National Health Services Directory (NHSD) provides general health service information such as location, opening hours and contact details for general practices, pharmacies, hospitals and emergency departments.

To get started – select one of the following methods:

  1. Click on one of the four service types to search ‘General Practice’, ‘Pharmacy’, ‘Emergency Department’ or ‘Hospital’ services or;
  2. Click on ‘Find a different service’, and then click on ‘more…’ to find more search options including: ‘optometry’, ‘diabetes’, ‘social support’ and/or allied health services such as ‘physiotherapy’ and ‘occupational therapy’

You can use the ‘Search Filters’ to find services that are ‘open now’, provide ‘bulk billing’ or ‘urgent care’, or services with specific facilities such as ‘wheelchair access’, ‘free parking’ and ‘accessible toilets’

IMPORTANT: You will need to contact the service provider to confirm they can see you under DVA arrangements.
