Pay and conditions

DVA graduates are engaged at a commencement salary of more than $46,000 per year. Once you have successfully completed the three month probation period and 10 month graduate program, you will automatically be advanced to a salary of more than $52,000 per year. You then have the opportunity to apply for further promotion based on merit.

Please Note: The Department’s current Enterprise Agreement expires in December 2008 and a new agreement is expected to be in place by 1 January 2009. Therefore specific salary and conditions will not be known until the new agreement is published.
