NOVEL

Following the success of the four-month trial pilot, the Department of Veterans Affairs has extended the NOVEL program (Networked Online Veterans Electronic Lodgement) to continue offering online services for Tasmanian veterans.

Once registered through participating Ex-Service Organisations, Service Tasmania or DVA offices, Tasmanians will be able to apply for a disability pension, war widow(er)s pension and orphans pension online. In addition, veterans may apply for an increase in disability pension and notify DVA of changes to their circumstances that may affect their pension.

To become a user of NOVEL members of the Tasmanian veteran community can simply bring identification, such as a drivers licence, to selected Service Tasmania, Ex-Service Organisations or DVA office to receive a logon ID and pass phrase that will give them secure access to the DVA network.

NOVEL users will then be able to submit forms at any time from their own home or anywhere they can access the Internet (including Service Tasmania shop public-access Internet terminals).

For more information contact DVA Tasmania on 133 254

If you already have a user name and pass phrase you may log in via the DVASS entry point.
