Younger veterans

Support for Younger Veterans in Residential Care [PDF 1.5 MB] PDF Version
With support from the Department of Veterans’ Affairs [DVA], a number of ex-service organisations in Victoria have formalised an agreement to work together to support younger veterans living in, or needing to be admitted to, residential care. This initiative recognised that, although the numbers are not large, in certain situations some younger veterans [those of 65 years of age and under] with special needs, require a level of care that cannot be provided in the community.
