DVA's Information and Communication Technology Solutions Group (ICTSG) plays a key role in developing ICT solutions to deliver services to our diverse range of clients.
The ICTSG maintains and develops over 120 applications as well as many commercial off the shelf products. In addition the ICTSG currently manages a number of high profile projects that have a budget of over $20million.
The current focus for the ICTSG is embracing new approaches to:
- Transforming information from legacy systems to more modern architecture
- Developing and delivering smarter systems where clients have access to ‘self service’ options
- Optimising ICT systems and functions to ensure best value for money is achieved
- Delivering on Whole of Government business initiatives through links with Medicare, Centrelink, Department of Defence, Department of Human Services, Reserve Bank of Australia and a large number of medical service providers.

DVA’s ICT Solutions Group is in a unique position to be able to offer graduates real world experience in a variety of highly sought after technologies. With systems ranging from Mainframe COBOL to .Net and Java web applications, the ICTSG has projects that will appeal to a wide variety of ICT graduates. As part of the ICT Graduate team you will work in a number of technical and non-technical roles and develop key skills that are in high demand for tomorrows public service.
