The Health and Wellbeing of Female Vietnam and Contemporary Veterans

This report draws on interviews with 60 female veterans who deployed from the Vietnam era onwards (as well as 30 workers in veterans’ services) to give a picture of the experiences of female veterans and impact on health and wellbeing.

The Impact of War Experiences on Dementia in Veterans - Final Report March 2012

This report provides the findings of a study that investigated the relationship between PTSD and dementia in a sample of Australian veterans.

Training for Secondary Mental Health Workers Initiative - final Report August 2011

This report provides information on an initiative to increase the competency of community based mental health providers who provide treatment to veterans.
Exploring future service needs of Australian Defence Force Reservists DVA commissioned this study in 2011 to gain a better understanding of the experiences of reservists.  It is based on in-depth interviews with reservists and a review of the academic literature and other documents.
